As you should know, we are going to try the new qualifying format, just like the real life. This includes a 15min knockout session and a 15min final session. The knockout session might not be run, in which case everyone would be included in the final qualifying session.
Knockout session: This will be preformed in practice session 4 with open car setup, so that we can use light fuel load, low ducts, discs, etc. It is a 15 min open session, where the top half of the field progresses into the final qualifying session, and the bottom half gets knocked out.
Final qualifying session: In this session, assuming you have made it this far, you must use your race setup, including your first stint race fuel load. Once you do one lap, your setup is locked (including starting fuel), and only minor changes are allowed. You can change tire compound, brakes, engine, and front wing after this session only. To make the most out of this session, it is recommended you do what the pros do: burn off as much fuel as you can, get new tires, and do 1 or 2 flying laps. If you press escape, your car will be refueled(bad), so don't do it. With about 5-6 minutes remaining, make a pitstop for new tires. You only need enough gas for 2 or 3 laps, so you probably don't need to add any. Now do 1 or two flying laps.
The guys that get knocked out in the first session have one advantage: because they didn't do any laps in the final qualifying session, they can change their setup all they want before the race.
Apologies for posting this so close to the race, but if you ever watched and f1 qualifying session it should be very familiar.

The following settings can be changed before the race if you ran in the final qualifying session. If you got knockout out in the first session, you can change anything and everything:
tire compound
engine rpm limiter
engine boost
engine brake map
front wing
steering lock
brake bias
brake pressure
