Need help guys. Last Euro Cup race at Zolder…the 1st heat no issue but in the 2nd heat when server advanced to race ....in the monitor window view was moving all over when I move the mouse to hit race. On the grid I had completely different view. I hit “insert” key and view went to nose view. I always race in TV Cockpit view.

Was just in a pick up race on Elites server 20 guys I quailed 5th and when server advanced to race same thing race started with some bullshit view…no mirrors …..How do I get the insert key to bring me back to the view I always race when this happens…..this sucks.

Follow up to above......When this happens and I am on grid hitting insert key it changes to nose view and all other views are camera views. Off line on grid when I do the same thing...go on grid and hit insert view....I get cockpit....TV cockpit.....and nose. And thats it and the way it should be! Please HELP RACE Was runied.

MM this seems strange but go check your profile settings and make sure you select the view you desire. I have no idea and I have never seen a server that changes my personal settings.... Maybe we need more info JJ on this..let me know tonight once I get home.

JJ I think you are activating "zero free move" and/or "toggle free move". You can basically pan the view with your mouse with this enabled. Look in your controller mappings from the menu in the game to see how those are assigned. You can assign them to keyboard or buttons the same as other controller mappings.

P5....it happened at least 4 or 5 times...over the past season.....2 times in the other league and once in our f-1 and now in the Euro Cup ...Thomas I think that may be it those 2 you mention i think are no mapped. Goin know to check. Will update...thanks

I had this same bug hit me too a few times ....I've always just franticly pushed buttons ( Insert, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Delete ) and managed to get my view back. It is definately a bug in rFactor and some how it triggers into "Free Mouse look" mode and you are screwed...start pushin' buttons....maybe if I "Actually" did assign a key for "free Mouse Look" then just pushing that key again would toggle it off...maybe?

Tim I saw toggle free move and that was mapped....I saw zero free move and that was not mapped so it is now. But dont recall mouse anything...I'll go look now.

Dont see any "free mouse look" only way to know if its fixed is for it to happen again.....
