2007 Meganes Series 2 Rules

Requirements
Meganes Cup 2.0
Wheel/Pedal controller

Start Time For Official Events:
Qualifying will begin the first of 3 official sessions (qualifying/warm-up/race), which will begin at 9:00pm est/6:00pm pst. These 3 sessions will always be preceded by hours of open practice sessions.

Race Settings:
Tire Wear - x2
Fuel Consumption - x2
Damage - 60%
Failures - Timed Scaled

Allowed Driver Aids:
Clutch Assist
Auto Shifting
Auto Blip / Lift

Qualifying:
Session Time/Laps/Status - 15 Minutes/9 Laps Limit/Open Session
Drivers are free to qualify on any tire/fuel/setup.

Qualifying will be the first official session of all scheduled events and will begin at 8:00pm pst/11:00pm est.
Drivers will be asked to keep the chat to a minimum during the session.

Warm-up:
Session Time/Laps/Status - 5 Minutes/Unlimited Laps/Open Session

This session will be seen out to its time limit of 5 minutes. This will give all drivers necessary time to make any last minute adjustments needed to prepare for the race session.

Race:
Session Time/Laps/Status - 30 Minutes/Unlimited Laps/Race (Unless special track: Rnd1, Rnd 7 and Rnd 12)
Type of Start - Standing Start, No Formation.
Drivers are free to race on any tire/fuel/setup.

Pit Stop(s) - No mandatory pit stops, however it is recommended.

If for any reason a driver comes to an early exit from the race session, please do not chat until all drivers complete their final lap.

Points System:
1st - 20 Points
2nd - 16 Points
3rd - 14 Points
4th - 12 Points
5th - 10 Points
6th - 8 Points
7th - 6 Points
8th - 5 Points
9th - 4 Points
10th - 3 Points
11th - 2 Points
12th - 1 Point

Points Additional to Race Results Points:
Pole Position - 1 Point
Fastest Race Lap - 1 Point
Most Laps Lead - 1 Point

Restart Policy:
We will allow for one race restart for every one-weekend event. A cast of votes, which will require a 70% favor to apply the restart, will decide this restart.

We will be limiting the maximum amount of slots for the Octane Elites Cup to 30 slots per round. To get a guaranteed seat, see Meganes Series 2 forum section for the sign up sheet each round.

Please be courteous to all drivers while in the hosted room as well as on track. If you have any discrepancies please save them for a Forum or personal discussion elsewhere and not in the hosted room chat.
